CEO Gerald Levin even declared -- the DRUDGE REPORT represents the "destruction" of news reporting! Levin, whose company now faces endless litigation over a false report that American military officers used nerve gas on Americans during Vietnam; a company that in recent years was forced to pay off Richard Jewell for falsely accusing him of planting the Atlanta Olympic bomb, apparently did not feel conflict when he called this reporter "an asshole." "Drudge is an asshole... he represents the destruction of everything I believe in about journalism," Levin told senior White House staffer Sidney Blumenthal at the height of the Lewinsky scandal last month.
