 DICK MORRIS LASHES STEPHANOPOULOS; WARNS ABC OF 'TROUBLE' Tue Jun 18 2002 21:00:57 ET Former Clinton adviser Dick Morris rains on former Clinton adviser George Stephanopoulos's parade -- just hours after ABC NEWS announces that it has named Stephanopoulos anchor of the Sunday morning program THIS WEEK. "If he does for ABC's ratings what he did for Clinton's -- the program will be in trouble!" predicts Morris. He continues: "I think that George Stephanopoulos's appointment as the anchor for the TV show "This Week" represents the final enshrinement of the liberal establishment media at ABC. Discarding even the pretense of nonpartisanship, the network hires a liberal politician, not even journalist, as its new anchor.
