First Mondale $olicitation Revealed

Former Vice President Walter Mondale has officially entered the race for the Senate seat left open by the tragic death of Minnesota Senator Paul Wellstone. Mondale has promised to continue fighting for Wellstone's beliefs in the Senate and on the campaign trail. He faces former St. Paul Mayor Norm Coleman in what is expected to be a very tight race.
Mondale boasts solid name recognition and is well liked throughout the state, but Coleman is far ahead in terms of funding. Mondale's campaign is therefore asking for financial assistance of any kind in order to keep Mondale's voice from being drowned out by the steady stream of GOP TV ads during the final days before the election.
The campaign is requesting that contributions be sent via Fed-Ex or a similar overnight service due to the limited period of time until the elections and the amount of time needed to process checks.
