TURNER COMPARES HIS EMPIRE COLLAPSE TO WORLD TRADE TOWERS
AOLTIMEWARNER vice chairman Ted Turner has opened his mouth again, this time on Wednesday at a news conference in New York City where he compared the fall of his business empire to the collapse of the World Trade Center.
"I went from no money to a pile of money, just as big as the
World Trade Center. Then -- just like the World Trade Center -- poof, it was
gone. Overnight."
He laughed aloud as he made the comparison.
Ted Turner was speaking at an event to celebrate the five year anniversary of his $1 billion pledge to support the United Nations Foundation.
