A man whose daughter brought crack
cocaine to a school in Iowa has been arrested and charged with drug possession, forgery and child endangerment.
Frank Snead, 41, of Coralville, was arrested Tuesday by Cedar Rapids police after he led authorities on a high-speed chase that spanned two counties, starting in Tama County.
His daughter brought the 2.75-gram rock of crack cocaine to school on Jan. 13 and showed it to the school's principal. She told the principal that the rock belonged to her father, who had been using and making it, authorities said.
;I think, in her opinion, she thought it was something that shouldn't be around the house,'' Principal John Saehler said. ;She just wanted to report it to somebody.''
Police searched Snead's home Jan. 16 and found $5,360 in counterfeit bills, several rocks suspected to be cocaine and other drug-dealing and counterfeit equipment, according to local media reports.
