FOXNEWS SCORES BIG WIN IN 'MARTHA VERDICT' COVERAGE

Last Friday during the biggest business story of the year, when the Martha
Stewart verdict was being delivered, FOXNEWSCHANNEL outdrew every cable
news network -- combined -- in audiience, including business channel CNBC, CNN and MSNBC.
From 3-4pm, FOXNEWSCHANNEL's Studio B w/ Shepard Smith attracted 1,617,000 viewers, while CNBC only drew 565,000, CNN had 767,000 and MSNBC had 265,000. By 4pm, CNBC plummeted to 384,000 viewers, then to 269,000 viewers
at 5pm and continued to fall sharply throughout the remainder of the day as
the story was heating up, hitting a low of 140,000 viewers by 6pm. CNBC
fared even worse in primetime with a Martha Stewart special only attracting
296,000 viewers at 9pm and was in taped programming by 10pm.
FNC also attracted more viewers combined than every other network in the
25-54 and 18-49 demos. FNC drew 681,000 in the 25-54 demo, while CNN only
garnered 237,000, followed by CNBC with 207,000 and MSNBC with 64,000. In
the 18-49 demo, FNC again outdrew every network combined with 564,000 to
CNN's 211,000, CNBC's 168,000 and MSNBC's 66,000.
