The president cancelled several appointments previously scheduled in NYC later today including a news conference he was to hold at Venezuela's United Nations mission. "Please accept our sincere apologies and any inconvenience this may cause you," explained spokewoman Melina Garc�a. The Venezuelan president did trek to a Harlem church Thursday morning, making good on a pledge to help low-income families in New York purchase deeply discounted oil.
